My work, clients and curiosity took me to cities and villages in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia. The responsibilities varied for each job. Among them were negotiating, contracting and insuring humane and safe working conditions. Here is an overview:
Brazil – Designed and directed production of handmade custom rugs
China – Product development home fashions, textiles, furniture, accessories, upholstery
India – Product development home fashions, accessories, linens, bedding
France – Buyer, trend forecasting, attending trade shows Pret-a-Porter and Maison & Objet
Germany, Great Britain, Italy – Buyer, product development, trend forecasting
Mexico – Design, product development and manufacturing oversight
Morocco – Trend forecasting, product development, Jardin Majorelle Marrakech
Canada, Spain – Supported a commercial leasing team in developing on-trend short-term retail tenants, pop up shops and visual merchandising for the grand openings of shopping centers Vaughn Mills Toronto and Xanadu Madrid
